Cairns

Cairns is located in Far North Queensland, home of the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree world heritage listed rainforest. With a population of approximately 240,000, the Cairns region is one of the most culturally diverse in Australia and is an attractive destination for visitors from Australia and worldwide.

The Cairns International Airport is Australia’s largest regional airport and the sixth busiest overall in Australia. It provides scheduled services to all the mainland capital cities, Alice Springs and numerous regional locations within Queensland.  Additionally the Cairns region rail network is part of the largest network in Australia and three interstate coach lines provide Cairns with daily services linking towns and major cities to the north and south.

Cairns features a thriving business community with the major industries being sugar cane, fishing and tourism.  James Cook University is just a short drive north of Cairns and there are two hospitals, Cairns Base Hospital and Cairns Private Hospital, located just minutes from our facilities.

With an enviable tropical climate, Cairns offers an idyllic lifestyle within a thriving city surrounded by beautiful natural features.
