High Care

People requiring ‘high care’ will have complex physical, medical, emotional, spiritual or psychological needs that require nursing care during a 24 hour period.

A nursing home is a residence in which a variety of high care services including accommodation, nursing care, physiotherapy, podiatry, pastoral care and recreational activities are provided.

Holy Spirit Care Services nursing homes are licensed and accredited by the Australian Government under the Aged Care Act 1997.  Further information about the residential care process, including financial arrangements can be found at the Department of Health & Ageing website at  at www.agedcareaustralia.gov.au.

Some of our facilities also provide specialist services such as dementia specific care and palliative care.  (Palliative care is dedicated nursing care for people who are dying. This can be offered in a nursing home or a Hospice.)

Holy Spirit Care Services offer High Care accommodation at Holy Spirit Home, Holy Spirit Mary Potter , Holy Spirit Bethlehem and Helena Hospice.
