WHAT
SHOULD I DO NOW?
The Department of Health & Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) for
your area will assess your eligibility for Hostel (Respite) care. You may contact them
yourself. You may then apply in writing to Holy Spirit Home on the appropriate application
form, enclosing a copy of your Letter of Approval from the ACAT.
Your application will be
acknowledged and you will be invited for an interview and to view the respite
accommodation. This interview is necessary for confirmation of your Respite booking. At a
time closer to your planned respite we request that you pay a deposit and sign a Respite
Agreement. |
