Beerwah Serviced Apartments provide accommodation for single people or married couples who are of retirement age, are independent and able to care for themselves, but prefer assistance with meals, cleaning and heavy laundry. There are 17 apartments comprising bedroom, separate lounge and ensuite. A further 4 apartments are bedsitters with ensuites.

ACTIVITIES
Holy Spirit Home will be your home, so you are free to continue all your usual
activities such as hobbies, visiting friends and having them visit you, going shopping and
to clubs etc.
The Home has its own bus which is used
regularly for recreational activities.
| FEATURES Each apartment has emergency assistance available through the use of a Nurse Call system provided in each bedroom, lounge and ensuite. A qualified (registered) Nurse is on duty at Holy Spirit Home 24 hours a day. Apartments have ample power points, built-in wardrobes, light fittings, TV and telephone points, overhead fans and wall mounted heaters. Separate kitchenette, dining area, lounge and patio have been provided for your use and comfort. A residents' laundry is close by with a separate enclosed drying court. Other features include views to the Glasshouse Mountains and surrounding areas, afternoon breezes from Moreton Bay, spacious grounds, a northerly aspect, pool, craft, recreational activities, library service and security. Shopping is available at nearby centres accessible by Council bus. Shopping trips using the Homes own bus are frequently organised. |

HOW
MUCH WILL IT COST?
An Accommodation Bond is required for Serviced Apartments and will be fully
explained at a confidential interview.
AGREEMENT
The Resident's Agreement provides a licence to occupy an apartment. The Agreement
allows exclusive use of the unit is for as long as the occupant is able to care for
him/herself or until such time as the apartment is vacated.
A new Agreement will be negotiated if a resident transfers to another level of accommodation at Holy Spirit Home.
The Home has a beautiful Chapel and onsite
Chaplain and daily mass service.
RESIDENT
FEE & OTHER CHARGES
A daily fee is charged depending on your financial position and level of care
required.
APPLICATION
You will need to return the Financial Information Form and request your Doctor to
complete a Medical History Form, both of which can be requested here.
Your application will be acknowledged and you will be invited for an interview. This
interview is necessary to have your name placed on the waiting list. We ask that you keep
in touch by telephone, letter, e-mail or in person if there is a change in your situation
which may affect your application.
