Holy Spirit Home Retirement Village is comprised of the Arnold Janssen Villas and the Holy Spirit Carseldine Apartments.  With views of the Glass House Mountains, afternoon breezes from Moreton Bay and spacious grounds, the retirement village provides a tranquil lifestyle only 15 kilometres from the city of Brisbane.

The village caters for people of retirement age who are able to live independently and if necessary will receive first priority for ongoing care in the residential areas within the Holy Spirit Home community.

Facilities include a swimming pool, functions room, craft and activities areas, library, internet services, café, hairdresser, mail service, pharmacy and chapel.  Shopping is available at nearby centres accessible by council bus (Aspley Hypermarket and Chermside Shopping Centre) or twice weekly using the Home's bus.

The Retirement Village Resident's Committee manages a very active social program, which includes art and exercise classes, movie nights, cards and bingo, organized day trips, vacation tours, BBQ’s, happy hours and indoor bowls. Residents have the choice to participate in as many or as little activities as they like.

When assistance is required residents can choose to utilize the onsite catering, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, pastoral care, nursing outreach, physiotherapy and podiatry services at their convenience.

Duplex style independent living units are known as the Arnold Janssen Villas.  There are 42 two bedroom villas  (patio areas have been enclosed on many units providing an additional room), and 13 one-bedroom villas. Designed for both comfort and lifestyle flexibility, the villas are fully self-contained and include a spacious open plan dining and lounge area, kitchen, bathroom and toilet, laundry and patio/balcony or courtyard. Standard features include built-in wardrobes, contemporary light fittings, wheelchair accessibility, elevated oven and stove, and security screens.

Two and three bedroom units (some with additional study nooks) within the 72 unit Holy Spirit Carseldine Apartments complex contain similar features to those in the Villas. This modern designed award winning complex adjoins the community centre and residents have easy access to a range of activities via enclosed walkways.

Onsite registered nurses provide emergency assistance 24hrs per day in response to the nurse call system located in each of the Villa and Apartment units and in activity areas.

Community Aged Care Packages are available through the nursing outreach programme and assist residents to participate in the ‘aging in place’ initiative that is a cornerstone of the Model of Care and Services provided throughout Holy Spirit Care Services facilities. This model provides a service that enables a number of residents to remain in their retirement village home despite the level of assistance required.
